A petition written by her attorney and dated September 10, 2021 called for a police investigation of the politician / lover on a variety of allegations, including criminal defamation, hacking, cyberbullying, and obtaining under false pretenses.

The petition read: “Our client has reason to believe that Kpokpogri Joesph had placed a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera in private areas of his residence and arranged those visits with the aim of blackmailing our client.

“She was surprised when sometime in August said Joseph began to demand the sum of five million naira from her and threatened to expose her nude photos and other similar documents related to her if he refuses to pay.

“To update this demand, Kpokpgri said he began sending messages, documents and files containing sensitive information and materials related to our clients to his phone while he released some to the public.

“Our client believes that Joesph hacked into his phone and illegally obtained private conversations that he had with a third party, which he, Joesph Kppkpogri, had disclosed to the public on or about September 6, 2021.

“Our client has been receiving a series of threatening phone calls that he believes are being orchestrated by said Kpokpogri.

“On or around September 7, 2021, our client received a phone call from this line 09038727436 that threatened that if she wrote something against said Kpokpgri, she would be killed; let them know where her son is studying and all the other details about her.

“Therefore, we urge you to use her good office to conduct a detailed investigation of the above events in order to bring Joseph Kpokpgri to the book.”

Tonto and Kpokpogri are said to have parted ways over accusations that she was cheating on her.
