Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer Abimbola Oyeyemi said Tuesday that Baptist Girls College Idi-Aba principal Abeokuta had informed police that the trio broke into the school with an unregistered vehicle. , armed with a new machete and threatening. hack a teacher.
According to Oyeyemi, DPO Kemta’s division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, immediately mobilized its men to the scene, where the three were arrested inside the school premises.
“During interrogation, Abidemi Oluwaseun confirmed that he hired the other two men at the school to teach the teacher who beat her daughter a lesson from her life,” Oyeyemi explained.
He added that the preliminary investigation had revealed that, while the teacher was teaching, some of the students, including the suspect’s daughter, made fun of him, distracting other students.
He said the teacher had whipped them as a corrective measure, but the suspect’s daughter went home and informed her father, who is said to have mobilized two bullies to school with a machete.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Lanre Bankole said the suspects will be duly investigated and brought to court as soon as possible, warning against this rebellious behavior in any public or private institution.
