The well-known musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has sadly left us.
According to reports shared by entertainment journalist Ovie on X, the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. However, the specific cause of his passing has not been disclosed as of now. While there are speculations that the singer committed suicided, however, nothing gas been confirmed yet.
It is worth mentioning that Mohbad was previously under contract with Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but parted ways with the label in 2022. He had garnered widespread acclaim for his hit tracks like “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and the collaboration with Rexxie on “KPK (Ko Por Ke).”
Remember that Mohbad has taken to his twitter page a few times to announce that if he ever dies, it is his boss’ fault. We are still trying to get the real truth.
