I’m in court to save PDP from hirelings – Secondus -GCFRNG

ABUJA – The suspended national president of the Popular Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, said on Sunday that his decision to challenge his removal in court is to save the party from those bent on destroying it.

He affirmed this in a statement signed by his media adviser, Ike Abonyi, and made available to journalists in Abuja.

The statement read: “For the avoidance of doubt, the media office wishes to reaffirm that Prince Secondus is indeed under pressure for justice and would seek it anywhere to save the party from mercenaries who destroy and derail the party’s focus.

The attention of Prince Uche Secondus’s media office has been drawn to an unsubstantiated story claiming that Prince Uche Secondus is under pressure to drop his case against the court side.

“The truth that said news does not tell is that Prince Secondus is not in court against the party, but that he was dragged into court by a person bent on kidnapping the soul of the party.

“The party leaders know who went to court against them and they know what to do instead of playing mind games.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the justice that Prince Secondus seeks is enshrined in the party’s constitution, which is supreme and clearly establishes how a national president and any national official can be sanctioned even where there is a beach known not to speak where there is none.
