Anambra PDP disowns Oduah and Emodi For Pledging Support for Ozigbo – GCFRNG.

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Anambra North senatorial constituency have rejected Senator Stella Oduah and Senator Joy Emodi who have defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, and pledged their full support for Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, who will run for the PDP in November. 6 Anambra governorship election.
At a stakeholder meeting in Ogbaru, a regional representative in the legislature, Mr Chukwuka Onyema said Ogbaru was still a stronghold of the PDP.
He said: “We need to improve the perception that the Anambra North senatorial region is now the political hub of the APC. Even though some of the leaders have left, our beloved party is still in ruins where no one in our party has left them.

“As we all know, no other party will like or love us more than the PDP. I also want to allay the fears of many people that a political party wants to hijack the gubernatorial election. It’s impossible.
“No one can vote in our by-elections, we will not allow the governor and the Anambra people to be forced. Voters have the right to appoint their own governors, not representatives. I have invested a lot of money in this party because I believe it is my home.
Former Anambra State Member of Parliament, Emeka Iduu, accused faithful PDP members in the constituency of highlighting the main points in the November 6 elections.
“We are a PDP family, and we will stay with the PDP and work for the PDP. No one can sell us or use us for planning in Anambra state, ”Iduu said.
Other PDP leaders from the region also turned their backs on the PDP and its candidate Valentine Ozigbo.
