mobilize 20 million votes for Osinbajo

A Northern Youth Coalition under the auspices of the Osinbajo Awareness Campaign, OAC, on Sunday supported the shift of power to the South and the presidential candidacy of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The group’s National Coordinator, Mubarak Haruna, who made it known when he inaugurated his Secretariat in Kano over the weekend, rejected that power remains in the North.

Haruna stated that the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC should consider a shift of power to the South if the party truly believes in maintaining a tight-knit federation.

In addition, he revealed the group’s plans to mobilize 20 million votes in the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in solidarity with the vice president.

In his words, “We are launching the awareness campaign in the northern states to mobilize the support of the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, to make him our next president.

“None of us have met him in person, but from what we know, we are convinced that the Vice President is the only proven and trusted candidate who can continue the good works started by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“It is obvious that Professor Osinbajo is a visionary leader, a patriotic citizen whose loyalty to an indivisible Nigeria is never in doubt; He is a detribalized Nigerian who is widely accepted regardless of his religion and tribe throughout the country. We will support him to make sure he wins, ”said Haruna.

Meanwhile, the group has also launched its vehicles to launch intensive campaigns in the northern part of the country and promote support for Osinbajo’s candidacy ahead of the 2023 general elections.
